Carlos Boozer wanted to be traded this offseason. Chicago and Miami were places he wanted to go. The Utah Jazz gave backup forward Paul Millsap a nice raise after having a career year. However, the Jazz decided to keep Boozer in a Jazz uniform for the foreseeable future. This could be interesting. The Jazz payroll is over $94 million this season and with that high payroll come high expectations. Boozer, however, is taking things in stride. He wonders if the fan support will be there this year. He wasn't in any Jazz ticket campaigns and his jersey at the Fanzz store is now half the price from last year. Since he got back to Salt Lake City, he and his family have been seen in town shopping and dining. He wants to the fans to come out and focus on the Jazz not just him. Boozer also said he will go out each night and give his very best effort in order for the Jazz to win. This could be an interesting year for Utah and for Carlos Boozer.
