The Utah Jazz will be heading to Europe on October 2nd to play a pair of pre-season games to promote the NBA around the world. The Jazz will play a game in London against another NBA team, the Chicago Bulls. Then the Jazz will travel to Madrid to play Real Madrid, a professional European team. This has not been the first time the Jazz has taken part in a goodwill tour. The Jazz once traveled to Japan before the start of the 1990-1991 season. Traveling overseas is rare for many professional sports teams due to the amount of staff as well as the jet lag many players and coaches experience.
